Regular Small groups
These groups provide an opportunity to explore relationships and faith with a smaller number of people (usually around 8-12) meeting in someone’s home.
We have groups meeting in the daytime and in the evening. Some groups have a broad mixture of ages and some are deliberately designed for older or younger people. So there is bound to be a group that suits you!
If you want to discuss faith and build stronger relationships then a small group is the place to be.
We currently have 11 groups meeting weekly.
For ladies, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month there is a meeting which starts with tea/coffee, has a time of sharing what God has been challenging/encouraging us with, and concludes with a time of sharing and praying for different prayer needs.
Periodic Small Groups
We also run some periodic small groups. These include:
- Alpha and previously Christianity Explored
These are run once or twice a year and are open to you to attend whether you are part of Hope Church, another Church, do not attend any Church, and may have no previous experience of Jesus & God but want to find out what this is all about.
We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view, wherever they are in the world.
After all, we all get one life to live and deep down we’re all asking the same question – what’s it all about?
These are run once or twice a year over 6-8 weeks, and are designed to look into a topic in more depth and increase the faith and understanding of those who attend.
Those attending chose whether to do this course alongside their regular small group, or change to attend this group only for the duration of the course before returning to their regular small group afterwards.
